Orders on your phone

Confirm, call, deliver and cancel orders from the Manager app.

The home screen

Home opens on today: revenue so far, how many new orders are waiting, how many need action, and the most recent orders underneath.

Every figure is a link. Tapping "new orders" opens the orders list already filtered to them, rather than to whatever filter you last left behind.

The orders list

Orders are listed newest first, with status chips across the top. Tap a chip to see only new, confirmed, delivering, completed or cancelled orders.

Search finds an order by number, by customer name or by phone number, so you can answer a caller without scrolling.

Open an order

An order shows its lines with quantities and prices, the totals, the customer card, and the note the customer left at checkout.

Under it is the order's history: when it arrived, when it was confirmed, and when it moved after that, each with its date and time.

Move an order forward

One button carries the next action for the stage the order is in. Confirming, marking it as delivering, marking it delivered — each is one tap, and the button always says which one it is.

The stages mean exactly what they mean in the dashboard, so a colleague working on a laptop sees the same order in the same state. Orders and payments covers what each stage means.

Call the customer

The customer's phone number is a button. Tapping it opens your dialer with the number already in it — no copying, no switching apps, no mistyped digit.

The delivery address and the customer's note sit with it, so the whole call can be made from one screen.

Cancel an order

Cancel from the order itself. The lines go back into stock, and the order stays in the list under the cancelled chip with the time it was cancelled.

When an order is waiting too long

An order that has sat unconfirmed is flagged in the list: after half an hour it is marked as ageing, after two hours as overdue.

The flags exist so an afternoon that got away from you is visible at a glance rather than discovered when the customer calls.

Keep the list current

Pull down to refresh. New orders also arrive on their own while the app is open, so a list left on the counter stays honest.

If something will not load

The app says what went wrong in your own language and offers to try again. A failure is almost always the phone's connection rather than the store.

If it persists, check the store's status in Settings, then Plan — a suspended store is read-only until it is settled.
